Latest News

For more than a year, our school, in coordination with the School Advisory Commission, has been planning for our future.  In 2015, St. James completed the cycle of the Ohio Catholic Schools Accreditation process.  The data and feedback collected from many work sessions and from surveys of parents, students, and faculty members from this process were used to help the work of our School Advisory Commission, the Leadership Team at St. James, and the school administration as we studied and planned for the needs of our school community.  The result of this work is Growing Our Community of Faith, Academics, & Service 2016-2021 and Beyond.  This is a bold strategic plan for St. James School addressing the areas of faith development, strong academics, and financial vitality.

Below is a link to the strategic plan document.  We encourage you to take a look and see the exciting plans we have for our future.

St. James School has the following positions open:

Junior High Science Teacher
St. James School is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable full-time Science Teacher to join our 7th and 8th grade teaching team for the 2020-2021 school year.  Join a team that has been recognized as a Top Workplace by the Cincinnati Enquirer for the past two years.  The ideal candidate will possess the ability to integrate technology into instruction and assessment in a 1:1 environment, have a demonstrated track record of successful instructional practices including frequent incorporation of hands-on lab activities into instruction, use data to inform instruction, and work as part of a collaborative learning team.  The teacher will have access to an amazing, fully equipped science lab.  Candidates must hold a valid Ohio license, and have fingerprints, background check, and VIRTUS current with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati prior to starting the position.  Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, and contact information for three references to Jeffrey Fulmer, Principal, via email at jfulmer@stjameswo.org.
